Types of License
Commercial License
As specified on the license it allows storage of objects, supply, import and export. A commercial license will have 10 similar and 3 different product lines.
General Trading License
A wider range of activities are allowed in this license and gives full choice and flexibility to trade in any service that’s acceptable in UAE.
Industrial License
This permits the licensee to import raw substances, then manufacture, assemble process, package the products, and export the completed product. It allows the holder to import raw materials for the cause of manufacturing, processing and/or assembly of products.
Service License
It allows the licensee to perform services shown on the license inside the Freezone such as logistics, courier services, and insurance service provider, travel agency, tour services, car leasing etc. Basically it’s for service providers.
Consultancy License
This license is for units that provide professional or expert recommendation and is issued to all of the experts which include craftsmen and builders. It also allows two related activities.
Freelance Permit
This permits a person to work as a freelance expert, and carry out business in a person’s beginning name rather than a trade or brand name or organization. The Freelance permit is planned for those working in film sectors, technology, media/publishing, and issued to ability roles, inventive roles and selected managerial roles.
